My engagement - Review

Hi people!

Erm,, how should i start this?

First and foremost I warn u that my engagements is juz a small celebrations. I dun hire any OP but it turned out to be there are many OP on that day..Hahaha! Im stil waiting pix from abg farouk (my bil) and Uncle Din. I bet they have the best pix as they conquered from the others. Hihi  :-)

1. Make up

perut i slim!YAY!

STAGE makeup. Have u ever heard of it? The brand has been official make up for last years AJL i think. I forgot. Well, I bought make up from them and there is where I got to know they also offer make over service. Since my engagement started at 10 am, so I ask them to come over my home! Well, this is my second time been make up by STAGE. Overall i like it despite the fact that im so tired waiting for Vivian (the MUA) to betolkan my kening. She's a perfectionist in her work. Any B2B in Melaka interested for her service, juz email me ya..Reasonable price ya noe! The make up was very thin I tell ya but yet stunning. Another fact is, I dun like to wear the eyelashes. Though that, the eyelash made my eyes look bigger u see!

2. Outfit

I love the way it falls

Well, I did wear the dark green kurung modern. I made it few months before we decided to engage. The fabric was bought from Gulatis (my fave) and was sent to my auntie's boutique. Thought of keeping it for any official functions but engagement also can be counted as one of the officials aite? hehe...The bottom A line skirt was a two tone chiffon. As the queen of that day, I also wear my personal own Dokoh. For hijab, I chose to wear syria and then cover by the pleated shawl. I did add a pear head band into the syria as if its a small crown. Hiks :p

3.Hantaran

Believe it or not I dun have any pix on that? HAHAHAHA! At least for now la. I told ya im still waiting pix from my bil and uncle.  I gave cuan's side 5 baskets which include the potpouri, fruits, choc n biscuits, cake and hadis. Was suppose to give him sirih dara but the flowers x cantik plak masa pagi tuh, so i changed it to cake. The cake was meant for the potong2 kek moment but what to do erh? :p I cant wait to show ya guys the choc n biscuits basket i made for him. So cute. Wait for it ok, later i will find the pix. Hiks!

I have noting else to comment. Im thankful for the helps received from famiy n frens on that day. What most important is, I have been engaged! Yay!!! Lega werhhh! No words can describe my feeling..Im juz grateful!

Bolognese Sauce

Halu!

Wat a lovely saturday!

I have been a gud girl today!

I woke up early, cooking and doing laundry.

Then I fell asleep when reading novel.

I juz love my day!

I dun want the weekend ends!

Btw, I wud like to share a recipe.

It's bolognese sauce.

Well, u can eat it with either spaghetti, macaroni or fettucini! (dun mind my spelling)

Here's the steps;

1st, cut the red onions into dice shape.


Next, cut tomatoes into dice shape too!

Then cut the buton mushroom into slices.

Wash the minced beef.

Other ingredients;

Cili boh/cili kering mesin

White pepper & Black Pepper

Parsley

*u can replace this with tomato paste

i used macaroni since boring lak mkn spaghetti :p

How to;

1. Panaskan periuk and letak sedikit minyak. (Lebih kurg cukup utk tumis bawang n cili) I used 1senduk kecik.
2. Tumis bawang smpai naik bau and then 2 sudu besar cili boh/cili kering mesin smpai garing.
3. Masukkan 1 botol kimball spaghetti sauce or 1 tin tomato paste.
4. Masukkan tomato yang telah dipotong td.
5. Biarkan sekejap. (sampai hirisan tomato itu cair)
6. Masukkan sliced button mushroom.
7. Bila most of the diced tomato tu dah cair, masukkan minced beef.
8. Tunggu smpai daging betol2 masak.
9. Jgn lupa garam n perasa. Letak sedikit serbuk black pepper and white pepper.
10. Sementara tu rebus la macaroni.
11. Potong parsley untuk hiasan.
12. Setelah kuah mendidih,pastikan daging betol masan dan boleh diangkat untuk dimakan! YAY!

TADAAA!HASILNYA!!

Senangkan? I masak for about 30 mins jer dah siap! Cepat dan yummy!

Tips: Kalo xmau macaroni / spaghetti melekat selepas direbus; letakkan sedikit minyak semasa macaroni masih panas. Dan lalukan macaroni itu dengan air.

Wedding Dress - 1st thought

Believe it or not!

I think I already receive signs from God related my wedding dresses!

Yay!

Oooh!Dun be sceptical!

I noe that I alwiz change my mind regarding this!

Ehek! Blame me! I juz wanna be pretty on my BIG day!

I wouldnt be bersanding on a dais wat not, so this is where I should splurge and indulge maself aite aite? (please,put your hands in the air)

Looking at few blogs and webs for the wedding dress and its pretty annoying for me!

Ahhha!Its becoz all the dresses are awesome, stunning and gorjez!

Gosh!I feel terrible as I already bought kain for my wedding dress! :-(

Sometimes I ask maself, y shud I tempah instead of sewa.

There are so many beautiful dresses available for rent and I juz bought the kain without doing any research!

Juz to make me feel good, I put the blame on my fiance.

He's the one said to me he thinks its best to tempah our own dress rather than sewa. :-p

And to make me feel even more better I tell myself that I shall design something simple that I can wear to any official functions! (besar sgt pangkat ko ke ka,ada org nak jemput?)

Nuff said!

So here's the general idea of my wedding dress;

1. akad nikah: a long pleated dress with hand cuffs and buttons at the chest. I wish it to be 2 pieces!
2. tandang: A simple short kebaya with kain yg bertingkat2!hahaha..i dunno the right term!
3. for pix's sake:" songket! we can only wear it once in a life time aite,hence i decided to rent songket for the both of us. but interestingly, that i read sumwhere in the blogs that the songket is sold at cheaper price at city one plaza.hurmmm!definitely i will go there on my next visit to kl!

Hurmm..Suddenly I feel that Sept is too soon!

So many to attend and manage! Plus with the small budget and high demand from me!

Pray for my strength to go through this peeps!
